🐾 Ruff House Dog Training — Walking Lesson Raffle Terms & Conditions
1. Eligibility
Participants must:

Be 18 years of age or older

Be the legal owner/guardian of the dog shown in the video
-
Reside in Northern Virginia or Washington, D.C.
Only one primary entry per household is allowed, with one optional bonus entry.
2. How to Enter
To enter the raffle, participants must:
A. Submit a Video
-
Record a 1–2 minute horizontal (landscape) video showing the dog’s problem walking behavior (e.g., pulling, leash reactivity, lunging).

Upload the original video to the form at https://ruffhdt.com/raffle
Bonus Entry:
Participants who also post the video publicly on social media using the hashtag #RuffHDTwalkfix and tagging @RuffHDT will receive one additional entry.
3. Submission Deadline
All entries must be received by August 21, 2025 @ 11:59 PM EST.
RuffHDT reserves the right to close entries earlier or extend the deadline.
4. Winner Selection
RuffHDT will review submissions and select two winners:

One small dog (under ~25 lbs)

One medium/large dog (25 lbs and up)
Winners will be selected based on clarity of the issue, video quality, and suitability for demonstration.
5. Winner Notification & Scheduling

Winners will be contacted via email, phone, or DM.

Winners must confirm and schedule their lesson within 7 calendar days of notification or they forfeit the prize.

Lessons must occur within 30 days of selection unless otherwise agreed.
6. Winner Consent & Media Release
By accepting the prize, winners agree to:

Be recorded (video and audio) by RuffHDT during the lesson, including inside their home and surrounding areas

Provide an on-camera testimonial or review
-
Grant RuffHDT full rights to all footage and audio for marketing, educational, or commercial use
7. Content Ownership
All participants, by submitting a video, agree to:

Grant RuffHDT a perpetual, royalty-free, irrevocable license to use, edit, publish, and distribute their submitted video and likeness for marketing, advertising, or educational purposes

Acknowledge they will not receive compensation or approval rights
8. Cancellation & Filming Refusal Clause
If a winner schedules the free walking lesson but:

Refuses filming,
-
Withdraws consent at the time of recording,
-
Or obstructs production,
…they agree to reimburse RuffHDT for costs incurred, up to the following maximums:
-
$200 USD for RuffHDT professional time and travel
-
$600 USD for camera crew or videography expenses
9. Safety Disclaimer
Participants are solely responsible for the safety and control of their dog during filming and lessons. RuffHDT is not liable for injuries, property damage, or unforeseen incidents.
10. General Terms

This raffle is void where prohibited.

All decisions by RuffHDT are final.

RuffHDT reserves the right to cancel or modify the contest at any time.

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
